It was a birthday party and a month-long exhibit in The Red Studio.
In May of 2014, The Red Studio housed a unique exhibit of the fiber work of friends and family of Maine Fiberarts’ bff, supporter and advisor, Carolyn Wollen. The exhibit included memorable items of Carolyn’s as well as fiber art work of others that was special to her.
Maine Fiberarts created a sort of “memento” booklet that listed all the items with a short description, plus a short bio of each of the contributors. Photos of the exhibit, which was held at the same time as the Masters show in the main galleries, are interspersed througout the pages.
