The term “folio” refers to “a page” or to “a collection of pages bound together.” It can be related to a book, a magazine, or a journal. Our Fiber Folio is meant as a living journal of travels throughout Maine’s fiber community—its art studios, fiber farms, galleries and museums, schools and learning centers, fairs and festivals. All the great variety that makes up Maine fiber.
The project is ongoing. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting people and places to profile. Read the stories and see photos of the places we’ve been. You, too, may find yourself wandering Maine’s scenic fibery places.
