I create sculptural works using basketry techniques and a variety of materials. I am inspired by nature and personal experiences. I like to experiment with texture and color and strive to create objects that induce the urge to touch – something that is forbidden for most art.  I'm also available to teach beginner basketry classes either at my home studio in Portland or through an arts organization.
