Holiday Sale of Members' Work

2013 Annual Holiday Festivities at Maine Fiberarts, concurrent with the Quilted Assemblages exhibition.

Maine Fiberarts hosts a Holiday Open House and Sale of members' work on Friday, December 6 (10 a.m.-8 p.m.) and Saturday, December 7 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) 2013, in the Red Studio. Demonstrators, refreshments, textile gifts, and a beautiful exhibition of quilts make the Holiday Sale a great time to visit Maine Fiberarts. We have new felted hats, handpainted scarves, hand-dyed yarns, and woven tapestries.

Some of the festivities include Beatrice Gilbert demonstrating quilting, Maine Fiberarts' members demonstrating fiber techniques, Fiber Friday taking place (Dec. 6, 10 'til noon)—all surrounded by the beautiful quilts of the show. The exhibition and sale of members' work remains on view through December 31. Remember to take note of Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10-4; Saturday, 11-2.

Maine Fiberarts is closed to the public during January and February. We will be in and out of the office and working from home, and you can reach Christine Macchi on my cell phone at 207-449-8573 or leave a message at 207-721-0678. We will be here—weather permitting—for Fiber Friday (from 10 till noon) on January 3 and February 7. Quilts by Beatrice Gilbert continue on display through the end of February, and we're happy to arrange an appointment for you to see the work. We'll reopen March 4 with new workshops, a photography setup in The Red Studio, and a new show. Check mainefiberarts.org to learn about what we're up to.
